जीवनी
As a South African citizen Pieter van der Merwe is much interested in the world around in him. Being confronted with personal short comings, photography has become an extension of himself.
Without words he is able to unlock the wonder of life in NATURE through his lens. The South African landscape is the perfect canvas for his art in this field.
With much patience he will, in spite of physical shortcomings pursue images to be shared with the rest of us.
MACRO photography is also a medium very dear to his heart......to unlock a hidden world of wonder.
Being humbled by life, nothing is too much of a challenge to him as far as photography is concerned.
Persistence to better himself as photographer, is his pursuit in life, and the rest of us are and will be the beneficiaries.
